I concur wholeheartedly Sheila. Another area the council ignore with vehemence is Little Underbank. A certain pub named after one of the Four Seasons that used to a well known jewllers is a badly run establishment with drunks smoking outside causing a nuisance to would be customers wanting to visit the quirky shops either side of that pub owned by Joseph Holt who as a long established family business should know better. There is no 'Licensed to sell' sign over the door which is illegal and both the council and police have been informed about it but prefer not to act because they are protecting 'big business' they do not want to lose from the town centre. They hold Karaoke sessions in the afternoon which can be heard as far away Greggs further warding off passing trade which is so badly needed it that area.
