It's a problem the Mountain Rescue have to deal with all the time. I was with two blokes who wanted to climb Scafell at 2.30pm in late October when the streams were virtually un-crossable, and there was only 3 hours daylight left. I talked them out of it but was astounded at the level of stupidity.
