And if this current shower get their way with regional pay for public sector workers then the North will forever be knocked back as the private sector will follow suit. Who on earth will want to move here then? It's an absolute scandal. We all deserve a 'living' wage yet those that do the most graft seem to be bailing out bankers, toffs and politicians. As usual under a Tory Govt (as that's what it is in reality, they pull the strings) those at the bottom of the pay scale suffer and those at the top gain. I'm getting sick and tired of being told we're all in this together. WE ARE NOT. I am about to receive a £5-6k cut in my pay, yet those at the top have just received a 15% pay increase. Is that fair? Who is bringing in the cash, the workers! Food is up, clothes are up, car insurance is up, travel costs are up, mortgage rates are up, power and fuel are up. Yet my pay and all of my colleagues will be going down. How are we supposed to live? I already work 2 jobs, I do 60-70 hours a week between the 2. Please tell me DAVE when do I stop being classed as lazy? When I am working 24/7? They make me sick, £20 extra a week in costs is nothing to them, nothing at all. To me it's 2 days work!!! AND DON'T START WITH ALL THIS IT WAS LABOUR'S FAULT. It's that fault of all Govt's over the past 30 years. 1 completely under invests in public services until they become so poor they are on the brink of collapse, and then the other has to borrow huge amounts to get everything up to scratch again, and then we go round in a vicious circle.
