There are acres and acres of land in north Manchester where they have been knocking down homes and mills and factories around Ancoats, Miles Platting, Collyhurst, and Monsal that is now just open space ... they are in the process of knocking down about 200 maisonettes in Collyhurst ... surely some of this land could be used to build some new properties without touching an inch of green belt....
