Rather than making a shake-up of Man United his priority, Alex Ferguson should be making a shake-up of his midfield THE priority. It is the midfield that is letting United down for the past two seasons, because both Giggs and especially Scholes are now way past their best. It is ridiculous that Ferguson is still relying on them, after Barcelona and other teams showed just how poor the United midfield now is. Buying Kagawa is not the answer. United badly needs a real midfield general who can direct play the way Pirlo does it for Italy ... the way the younger Scholes used to do it. Buy another midfielder & let Scholes & Giggs fade out.
