what is the point? why not ask the Italian parliament to forgive Jesus? whatever happened in the past cannot be altered. to judge the past by your own present standards is futile. you have to learn from the past but you can't condemn it because none of us would be here without it. this is on a par with King Canute ordering the tide back.
