Just can't understand why the old trams are not stripped of the running gear, repainted in the same colours as the new ones and then the new ones pulling the old ones behind making a four car tram,mind you when you bear in mind that labour councillors are behind most of the planning and running of the trams, one can understand the problems with the Metrolink
