We played a number of games on a Sunday at the end of last season and there was little if any improvement in attendances, save for the last game at the Willows. Many people work Sundays. My son is a season ticket holder who travels from Preston to the games but he works on a Sunday so would not be able to attend if they switched. Most of the big clubs play their home games on a Friday night, e.g. Wigan, Leeds, Saints, Hull, instead of Sundays. I agree moving out of town was a bad idea and was only going to reduce attendances once the novelty of the new stadium has worn off. Cannot understand why we did not stay within the heart of the city, but I never been able to understand many of the decisions made by the club. Alicante Red
