Can this be true? They are going to pay People who are NOT teachers to go into schools and teach! The teachers are more than able to do their job if they are not snowed under with pointless paperwork. The unsatisfactory SAT's results don't matter. Our children are our future and should be given the best education but due to politics, including lack of funding thanks to cuts brought about due to the overspending of the last Government and parental apathy our children are left wanting. We should be campaigning for a return to a REAL education with teachers allowed to teach in various ways to enable their pupils. We do not all learn the same way and in my opinion this is one of the reasons education has diminished in the UK.
