David Cameron (and the Conservatives in general) has clearly never understood the working classes. The fact that he has never had to worry about how he is going to feed his children is evident when he makes these brash statements regarding changes in benefits that will further alienate the poor and the less advantaged.

Surely the answer is to educate and instil a sense of belief of self worth rather than kick people further down the ladder and thus create an underclass from which there is no return.
