j duster.

80% of the pension a doctor receives is funded by the taxpayer. i would like a pension 80% funded by the tax payer.

80% of the population do not have access to public service pensions why should we the majority have to SUBSIDISE doctors pensions.

the vast majority of the private sector workers who are lucky enough to have a pension do not have final salary schemes. to you lucky **** in cloud cuckoo land this has meant.

we have seen our pensions destroyed by the aftermath of 9/11

we saw a slight recovery only to see them decimated again in the credit crunch.

because of the continuing problems in the real world ie not the public sector our pensions are continuing to be affected by quantitive easing.

our pension will NOT be index linked

private sector workers

have far less job security work longer hours for less pay get far less generous holidays cannot take sickies like our featherbedded colleagues in the public sector we retire later.

just why the bloody hell must we continue to pay such heavy price so that the minority in the public sector can have better pensions than the rest of us.
