The current GCSE system allows for brighter students to take advanced papers which consist of moderate to hard questions and for those less academically minded to take intermediate papers.

Whether you call the qualification an O-level or a GCSE is pretty irrelevant. The point of this exercise is for Gove and his cronies to make themselves feel important.

Here's an idea, why not listen to the experts instead of inflicting change for the sake of change with no real substance behind it!
