Chough, Jay B has a point regarding the current state of the roads in Oldham town centre due to the work for the metro. It's a nightmare of diversions & blocked roads. I can't comment on access to Mumps tram stop by foot a s I haven't tried but there have been reports that it's confused and convoluted.
