Whilst I understand that this failure is no fault of metrolink, I do question the delay in announcing the problem, do metrolink not have a policy for informing local radio etc? as I am sure not everyone checks the metrolink website prior to leaving their house. I always leave plenty of time for problems nowadays however what I don't allow for is = A) Tram sat at Crumpsall on arrival from Piccadilly for 2 minutes.......why? B) Tram after going to turn around at Crumpsall, sat for 4 minutes......why? C) Tram stopped just outside Victoria waiting for either the Altrincham or St Werburgh Road tram to turn or the Oldham tram to pass......I can't wait for the across the city and the Ashton trams to join the fleet! D) Tram stops at corner outside Debenhams for traffic signal........metrolink NO VEHICLES GO ALONG MARKET STREET, why do you keep stopping there?

All told the journey was approximately 10 minutes longer than necessary.......I missed my train by THREE MINUTES!!
