Haven't stop laughing! Get real - the amount of poverty around the city centre can't just be wished away! When will our leaders stop talking all this bull and open their eyes to the reality of Manchester in the 21st century? In terms of the kind of city it is everyone knows that its closer to Bradford than Barcelona! This kind of silly bravado isn't worth the paper its written on - let's have some real jobs in the city, and safer communities: we can't rely on the state to force the equivalent of the BBC to relocate here and drive up house prices whilst providing next to no jobs for locals.
