Building 60,000 affordable homes, and 80,000 'new' residents.
Maybe if they concentrated on improving the lives of the thousands of residents already here, and providing homes for the thousands on the Council House waiting list and homeless in Manchester, I'd believe this 'story' a little more.
Like many empire builders, MCC is too busy generating income for the city centre and building business parks to draw in extra income, whilst forgetting they also have a responsibility to the people already living here, and who have lived here for many decades, we are much like London now, I expect the city centre to be split into zones soon, and everything/everyone not within a central zone, does not exist, except of course for the collection of council tax and rent.
