They're just bad enough to win!!

Terry was like a carthorse, Milner about as bad and Young was probably worse. Carrol scored a great goal but other than that jusr seemed to throw himself at everything whether it was moving or not. Hart looks unsure of himself at times.

Walcott made the difference. Hopefully Hodgson learns something - defense only won't win the games. Not sure whether Wellbeck's goal was a shot or Ithought he was trying to control the ball and it finished in the back of the net - full marks either way for being in the right place.

I think Rooney will replace Young although it may be Carroll. I think it must be in the England manager's contract that they have to play Milner - they all seem to think they can make a silk purse out of a sows ear with that one, don't understand their fixation.

He also needs to play Gerrard more forward and Parker further back, if at all although not sure what his alternatives are - no Henderson for heavens sake.

They're truly bad so who knows how they'll fare against a team that has the players to attack them.
