I used to laugh at how people looked towards consultants, when I used to sit through presentations for the work, first i would look at, what are they driving and how dear is the suit they are wearing. Then i would work out how much work would we actually get, needless to say i usually pitched away from these types, to get value for money and best advice. Some consultancy firms will just change the cover on a report, do 99% cut and paste and then present their findings, I bet in the report given to Salford there will be fans replies but how many fans were actually asked?
