Its obviously lost on bitters the fact that a consistently successful club can only have so many star players, foreign players, utility players and workhorse type players to make an initial squad then it needs to be filled out with top quality young players to keep everything balanced! This is nothing new to United supporters and I'm quite happy to watch a season or 2 of little success to pass while the next successful team is in transition to then carry on the domination of the mighty Red Devils. Perhaps the Berties should open their eyes to the bigger picture and realise that SAF is merely taking steps to ensure the continued success of United both domestically and in Europe when he snaps up brilliant young talent like Powell, Jones, Smalling, De Gea, Hernandez and Kagawa to complement our own talented youngsters who've already broken into the 1st team like Cleverley, Evans, Welbeck and Amos!
