No delays? hahah, I just got the tram from Manchester to Bury at 5:20pm and it was literally HEAVING. As a regular user of the tram I can assure you this means there has been no Bury tram for about 20 minutes, and since the service advertised is 6 minutes, there have indeed been delays.
On the plus side, when we got to the Metrolink depot at 5:25 on a jam packed tram in the heart of rush hour, they decided to pull in and change drivers, which always helps to cheer up the already annoyed customers.
