I don't claim to have any greater insight than you but I very much doubt that is how United conduct their transfer business. It seems much more likely to me that the targets have been agreed far in advance of the Euros and where possible deals are already agreed in principle for the players we will sign this summer.

The idea that Dortmund will be influenced by the player's performance at the Euros to keep or sell doesn't seem sensible - surely that is a decision that will be based on his performances over a much longer period in the Bundesliga and in training?
