It is down to FIFA to get tough with the individual countries and hold them accountable for the actions of their supporters. Unfortunately from the top FIFA seem to think this problem (both on and off the pitch) is not worthy of further action and would prefer to bury their heads and ignore. Every player will understandably react differently to abuse but let's not forget it is not just racist abuse. Problem is - when we start accepting players walking off the field from abuse do we say ''that's OK cos it was racist chanting but not OK because it was only about his wife/hair colour/etc etc''. We could end up with stadiums with the atmostphere of a library all because of a small minority of idiots.
