I think it is great - anything that connects us all is a great thing. Shame it has took this long - beggars belief there is still no connection to Manchester Airport - Rochdale has no connection, Wythenshawe, Partington, Wigan, Bolton, Ashton (and more) the same.

I live in Salford, we have a connection to Eccles - nothing near me. We have buses, as we all do, which take me to Manchester & surrounds.

When in Manchester I see various buses arriving from the Chorlton area, & now they have a Metro.

Who does the plans?

My kids are more used to trams in Blackpool than they are here.

I must live in the wrong part of Greater Manchester.
