Thought this was neat...John Thorrington who signed with United when seventeen is now with the whitecaps. He was on the local sports radio show Friday afternoon and he could not stop talking about how amazing SIR was. He told a story about meeting up with SIR while he was with the Chigago Fire many years after leaving United. Not only did SAF remember him he knew his name and was polite enough to enquire after his family by name. When I view the boss on the sidelines or at his pressers I really do not get the feeling that he is a warm and cuddly type, all business and no nonsense. This interview has changed my perception and my admiration has ratchetedup another two notches.
