A couple of observations. 1. Would the country and the people be any better off we had a republic? What would a republic consist of,a president plus hangers on and a change every 4 or 5 years? Do we want an Ireland or God forbid,a France or Italy who got rid of their monarchy or the good ol' US of A who came into the game too late to have their own monarch? The USA would love a monarch,take it from me! 2. It was great to see the celebrations taking place without politicians sticking their noses in like Blair and his ? (insert your own noun/adjective here). 3. It was great that we didn't see any silly blue flags with a circle of stars,on show. I would have thought the EU would have insisted on it. 4.Wasn't Cheryl Cole useless whilst Madness and Live and Let Die were fantastic? 5.After that,does anyone still want to stay in the EU and if so,WHY?
