As a WW11 re-enactor I thoroughly enjoyed, once again, the Bury WW11 weekend. It has to be remembered that not everyone who dresses up is a member of the Group performing the battles over the three days. Any member of the public can dress as they wish and turn up covered in medals, Swastikas and SS Runes. Perhaps the couple who last year were asked to dress as refugees were asked by a member of the public and not a member of the Group.
