Even under GM Buses when Merseybus were competing, things were faster. This busway scheme is a financial disaster waiting to happen; the only practical solution we can push for, that hopeless TfGM / GMPZT will approve will be conversion of rail to Metrolink to Wigan with a branch to Leigh coming off at Swinton.
