I agree with you there tacitae pars, we did not vote these councillors in to have them destroy the road networks, they just all seem to have an anti motorist agenda, most of the main roads in Manchester which were two lanes and always have been two lanes have been made into one for no other reason than to be vindictive. Look at the A6 through Longsight and Levenshulme, Wilmslow road, Hyde road, Ashton Old road and many others, all sabotaged by our council to make it look busy so they can eventually introduce a Con charge. Did you know if you go on the GMTU traffic census website and study the facts that there has been no increase in traffic on A & B roads in all 10 local councils of Greater Manchester excepting Oldham for the past 15 years, that is no increase and most have decreased, but your journey times have increased 3 fold as a result of your Councillors hidden agenda's.
