Last time I used it the path was passable, just about, as far as the Mark Addy opposite Spiningfields, although once passed the Regent Road area is was no more than a dirt track and rather overgrown.

There seemed to be space (as I recall) between the river and neighbouring land to extend it though, so its soemthing the council should consider, assuming funds can be found at this time.

I assume you are refering to the Salford side path rather than the Manchester/Trafford side?
