I wonder if there are plans to open up the Manchester Ship Canal route from Salford Quays into the city centre? I cycled from the Imperial War Museum towards the city centre but the route just seemed to end and had to climb over a fence of a car park. Somewhere near Quay Street/Regent Road, I think.
