I remember it very well. The plane flew over Hillcrest Road where there was a large playing field. It was very low and seemed to be descending. We thought it was trying to land there, but it flew on, and very soon afterwards we heard the impact when it crashed, and we sam smoke rising. I got on my bike and rode in the direction, and when I got there in was chaos. The smell was horrible , and yet the ice cream van was there selling ice creams.
