39 years ago I swore allegiance to the Queen upon joining the army. I stand by that oath to this day and will to my dying day. The Queen is a national figurehead and this role she has been an excellent ambassador for Great Britain. She has been worth numerous times the amount she has cost in a myriad of ways and you republicans are entitled to your opinions but will not change mine.
