The bits I caught were amusing though, the former editor of one of the countries leading newspapers and CEO of one of the biggest media corporations in the country stating under oath they payments had been made to serving police officers, something probably illegal. Although I think that was before a Parliamentary panel rather than Leveson.
What might be of some interest if the truth can be uncovered will be just how neutral a role self confesed cheerleader and government minister Jeremy Hunt was playing in a major corporate takeover.
I await the grim inevitabilty the long awaited outcome that press freedom should in some way be restricted, almost certainly to the benefit of secretive politicians and detriment to the rest of us though.
