Nwe Labour spent a fortune on new school buildings, but wasted most of it on PFI deals arranged by lots of new, well paid, naive, gullible, unworldly council staff who were totally clueless about money and were comprehensively taken to the cleaners by the private sector they negotiated with.

That money has now been spent.

There's no bottomless cash pit for more school building.
