The Hodgson selection is poor and unimaginative, aside from Oxlade Chamberlain who should start, as he can be devastating. Adam Johnson should also have been in the squad, as he is a game changer and a great sub to have as a weapon but why oh why do we persist with Gerrard, Lampard, Terry, Downing (so average it's incredible). It beggars belief. Milner would be best used in the middle with Scott Parker. Johnson and Chamberlain as wide players and Defoe and Sturridge (oh yeah, he's not going either) up front. At least that would be entertaiing. If we are going to lose, lets do it in style. Same old dross. Rooney shouldn't even be there. His petulance has already cost England a striker for the first three games and could happen again, if they get through the group stage. Idiot that he is.
