A top keeper will win you a dozen points a season. Forget all th stuff about dodgy refs etc, I bet if you look at the seasons when United only won the title by small margins, Schmeichel would have been the difference. Hart has done that for us this season. Even in games that we have romped home, there have been points in the matches where he has had an important role to play. Spurs away was a stroll in the park but Spurs didn't play that badly, they were just overwhelmed and when the scores were close, Hart made some crucial saves that kept our noses ahead. Had those shots gone in the scoreline could have been very different. And, like Schmeichel, he appears to have very high concentration levels because he can spend a lot of time with very little to do in some games and then be required to pull off a top draw save. His only fault is that he still parries some balls back in to the middle of the six yard box instead of putting them out for a corner. But I think that cost us a couple of goals all season which is in complete contrast to the numbers he has saved and the points he has won for us. Only Casillas and Neuer are on a par and I don't think there are any keepers outside of Europe who get a mention so we might as well say top three in the world!
