Jimmy gannon(the ghost)midfield attacking sneaking in the box to head in vital goals!.
Chrissy beaumont another decent player from my early seasons goal getter & scored some screamers & a hard working player.
Paul wheeler (wheeler wheeler) tricky winger & provided decent crossers.
David frain(frainy) the 3rd of my early county players i watched in midfield long range shot in him & free kick specialist & scored goals.
Lee todd from teeside left back(toddy ps how did you score that(your)1st county goal at york away history making for county fans that day TOOK YOU ALONG ENOUGH to score your 1st county goal then you scored a few more after that.
Peter ward(wardy) looks like rafa benitez double with the goatie,midfielder free kick expert like frainy also scored some long rangers.
Mike flynn(flyny) defender a county favourite long throw expert a bit like another county favourite long thrower KILNER KILNER KILNER A puskas type of goal(as on the club video highlights)he scored against torquay(didn't bring many fans you could count them on your hands on a friday night game ha haaaa) in the away end. ALL THOSE GREAT PLAYERS from the various years that took county to wembley of the north 4 times in 2 ONLY YEARS!,And made county from a small side in the 4th div late 80's to very good league 2 team 2000 years,LOOK where all their hard work has gone with the COUNTY & THE LENGEND MANAGER then R.I.P DANNY BERGARA has gone!.
