To me, this sounds like yet another 'Tory Postcode Lottery Story'. There has always been a substansal North and South Divide and yet this seems to be more proof in yet another plot thickener. I was born and raised in Middleton but moved down into East Anglia a little over eight years ago and if you live above Birmingham, then technically, the health, teaching, early years sectors (the lists go on and on) are virtually non-existant. And I am somewhat bewildered by people's education when they say that 'Gordon Brown and Tony Blair' have a lot to answer for ! Have people forgotton about the Thacher and Major Days? What was it was Thacher said, 'Lets leave Toxteth to it's own devices. 2011 same government, same riots.
