I agree Paul, but it's a double edged sword. A player's development as part of an international set up is not to be sniffed at and they would all benefit from that as would the team in both league and cup matches as well as us watching on Friday evenings.

I do believe that sooner or later, some or all of them will receive the selector's curly finger though and by and large that is a credit to the club and its staff, it also serves to attract quality players alongside them.
