The Royal Family used to own this country as I'm sure you're aware.

Now they have traded that wealth and power for a few palaces, a couple of castles, the odd stately home, the civil list etc. etc. Think of what they have sacrificed rather than what they've got now. No wonder they always look miserable and bored.
