There are also a lot of people in Manchester who wouldn't dream of getting off their backsides if a job was handed to them on a plate, why shouldn't the taxpayer foot the bill for the visit of the Queen,, the Pope visited the UK recently and millions of pounds of taxpayers went on that pointless occasion, that is something that should have been funded by the Vatican they have enough money. I have always found that those people who are anti-royal may be British born themselves but have parents/grandparents whose alligience is to another country and £40,000 is not a great deal of money when I think of how Manchester City Council waste millions a year. So get real she is our Queen and let them that don't like it leave the country and go and live in a republic!
