That's bad news for the lad, he's a young guy who I believe has the potential to be a great defender. He's a nice guy, and has the right attitude towards football and life. He will improve as he's still young and quite a few years off his peak, so I'm sure he'll be good. However, this may not be such bad news for us, he may not have been guarenteed a place in the squad anyway, the chance wasn't that high, and it will enable him to come back this summer fresh, healthy and ready to go! I have high hopes for my beloved reds next season, if we can strengthen our midfield and give the youth more of a chance!
