Spot on post. Some players a-la-Evra are long on rhetoric and short on delivery. Folk talk about the tactics in the City game but |I bet had we not messed up against Everton (and Blackburn (H)) then United would have played differently with a 5 point lead going to the Emptihad. As much as I agree with a lot of people on here about the poor activity in the transfer market over the past 3yrs we have to accept that the manager and the muppet Phelan actually got United to the 8point lead they had. SAF has made mistakes but who doesn't after 26yrs in the same job? Maybe it is time he sailed off into the sunset but my guess is he will want to go out on a high and not the current low. Much will depend who is brought in during the close season and I have to say that the omens are not good. Kagawa and the boy from Crewe do not impress me in the slightest and that is the 'value in the market' then we are looking at another swift exit from next seasons CL.
