That's when I 1st saw him & he was awesome that day, head and shoulders (Physically and metaphorically) above everyone else on the pitch. I remember everyone around me asking who was the big fella playing for Olympiacos, but none of us knew. I noted his shirt number and rushed home after the match, went on the OS & found out his name and that he was Kolo's younger brother.

I did a Google search on him which revealed that Olympiacos had just bought him for £1m! I remember saying to a mate of mine that if Pearce had eyes in his head or any sense, that he'd offer Olympiacos double their money and bring him to CoMS......

Alas we only had a £6m transfer budget that season and Pearce was talking up the return of Dickov and buying Bernardo Corroded.......... Boy how time have changed eh!
