difficult to compare the 2 for me as I see them as different style of players. Gullit had a remarkable control of the ball and could stroke it around the park without looking and was more of a goal-scorer, but I dont think he had the engine and ability to run box-to-box for 90 minutes like Yaya, who is capable of the long,raking passes but generally prefers the shorter pass and quick movement, and breaks up play far better than Gullit ever could, and he has a far better temprement than Gullit. Yaya has already proved he is a big game player and has won the lot with Barca, so has nothing to prove. coming to City was a risk for him(but then going to most clubs from barca probably would be) he could have stayed there and playd the odd game and picked up his winners medals, but he chose to come to City and be part of the foundations of a new story, to make history with a club with a recent history of winning nothing, and we can only be grateful that he chose to join the "project" and make City a club to be reckoned with once more
