I said way back that Utd needed to be at least 4 points ahead of City by "April 29th". The reason is evident and we are now seeing the outplaying thereof.
Utd probably won't get all the points at Sunderland, so I foresee the same unfolding events in 2012 as in 1968, when it was all square before the last game and Utd failed to turn up leaving City with a 2 point lead at the end. Oh, I forgot, silly of me! City enter the game with an unassailable goal difference. Utd had the advantage last time!
