utd fans should be blaming Edwards Jnr (and more so, Fergie, for p*ssing off two other major shareholders over a horse) for their current predicament -- the Glazers simply want to own a profitable global sports brand and gained legitimate investment from banks with their business model. Despite the credit crunch, so far, that model has not done too badly, but if Chelsea and Arsenal and Spurs were to marginally improve next year, utd might well begin to struggle.
