Roy has'nt even taken charge of a squad yet and the GUTTER press are giving him stick already. Why do the press do these kind of things in our country? The flack that Taylor and McClaren were subjected to was horrendous. These men are just trying to do a job and don't deserve to be harranged in this way. I just hope Roy makes a success of the job, which has been a poison chalice for for several managers. Our press and media should be in full support of our sportsmen and women, not looking for scandal and mimicry to throw at them. How many of our most successful sporting stars have been subject in the past. Other countries make gods of their stars, but not ours. Its time that some body got to grips with some of the tabloid papers and charged them with bringing sport into disrepute. The price for selling papers is too high on some individuals.
