I'm sorry, am I missing the point here? Being disabled and having a blue badge gets you a space close(r) to the entries.... That's fine - I agree with this wholeheartedly. However I fail to see why having a blue badge should mean you also get to park for free. I am not disabled, I have to pay to park. If I become disabled, I get to park closer, but should still pay. I'm just not getting why there is uproar about this... can someone give me one good reason why disabled people should park for free?
