I am very interested to see that the provision of services for traumatised children is being developed as a profit creating business ,obviously giving rewards to those who finance it's development, however the acid test is in the outcomes achieved as measured by how these young people adjust to the life offered by these firms .Do we have any figures?Private care is nothing new one only has to look at the friendly landladies of the 19ThC,what we have must not be measured by Ofsted ratings but by real life outcomes after the Y/P leave the care of these organisations, have they opportunities for work, housing in good accommodation, good support services etc
